We were commissioned to completely restore all the painted finishes in this beautiful 1926 George Washington Smith Italian villa. Extensive research and care went into working with design Frank Pennino to complement and enhance the existing architecture. Our involvement included a complete start-to-finish ballroom design, art design and application. We were assigned multiple themed rooms where the art of the painted finish was paramount. Applications included gold leaf, French polish, stenciling, staining, lacquering, wall glazing, clay painting. I had the pleasure to hire and work along with some of the best artistic talents you could find. This remains to this day one of my favorite landmark homes. We were encouraged to spare no expense and to execute the restoration with 100% integrity.

We were invited to restore this Moroccan villa, a one-of-a-kind architectural marvel. This historic landmark home had everything from a large backyard atrium to prohibition rooms, to Lazy Susan garage. We were responsible for restoring all the paintwork and the woodwork as original. It was the most memorable project because a few people felt paranormal activity. Nevertheless, we finished the job successfully.
